Ne-Yo to Perform Live in Colombo This December

Colombo, August 28, 2025 — The city is gearing up for a historic night of music, culture, and global entertainment as three-time Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum superstar Ne-Yo prepares to perform live in Sri Lanka for the very first time. The press conference, held today in Colombo, confirmed that the internationally acclaimed R&B icon will headline a grand open-air concert at the Sugathadasa Outdoor Stadium on December 28, 2025.

The event is proudly presented by Brown Boy Presents, founded by Sri Lankan entrepreneur and cultural ambassador Amith “Brown Boy” Boteju, who described the concert as “a historic moment for Sri Lanka and a milestone in putting the island on the global entertainment map.”

Ne-Yo, who first rose to fame with his chart-topping debut single “So Sick” and went on to release worldwide hits like “Miss Independent,” “Closer,” and “Time of Our Lives,” expressed his excitement about performing in Sri Lanka: “I’ve always wanted to perform in Sri Lanka, and I’m excited to finally bring my music to the people there. It’s going to be a night to remember, and I can’t wait to share my biggest hits with my fans in Sri Lanka.”
